Using advanced PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) technology, the mats automatically regulate their temperature. As the mat warms up, its resistance increases, which reduces the electrical current and keeps the temperature steady at approximately 42°C ± 5°C (107.6°F ± 9°F). Built with high-strength, low-temperature electric heating material, these mats offer superior insulation and a high thermal conversion rate, ensuring continuous, consistent heat without the risk of overheating.
The ReptiZoo PTC Deluxe Heat Mat comes with an included double sided adhesive pad to ensure it stays in place.
