ProRep Vermiculite Coarse 5 Litre is a natural, mineral-based substrate made from exfoliated volcanic rock. Its larger particle size ensures excellent aeration and moisture retention, making it ideal for reptile egg incubation and humid enclosures for larger invertebrates. The coarse texture prevents compaction, promotes airflow, and maintains stable humidity without the risk of mould or rot.

Pre-moisten the vermiculite before use. For reptile eggs, maintain proper moisture levels by gradually adding water if drying occurs. Partially bury eggs with the top third exposed and avoid egg-to-egg contact. Vent containers minimally to keep humidity high, and replace or refresh substrate as required.
