Spread across the base of the enclosure to a depth of 2.5–5cm (1–2 inches). Spot clean daily, removing soiled areas, and replace fully every 2–3 weeks or when required. Always use dry, as damp hemp can lead to mould or rot. Do not use deep layers with heat mats, as this may cause overheating.
