ProRep Vermiculite Fine 5 Litre is a lightweight, inert substrate made from exfoliated volcanic rock. Its fine texture and high water-holding capacity make it ideal for spider and invertebrate enclosures, as well as reptile egg incubation. The fine grade absorbs several times its weight in water and slowly releases moisture to maintain stable humidity levels, while remaining resistant to mould or decay.

Moisten the vermiculite before use to the desired consistency. For reptile eggs, a 2:1 vermiculite-to-water ratio by weight is suitable for many species, although individual requirements may vary. Ensure eggs remain partially exposed and avoid contact between them, with minimal venting to maintain high humidity. Spot clean or replace substrate as necessary.
