ProRep Coarse Beech Chips are an economical and dust-free hardwood substrate, perfect for large reptiles such as snakes and lizards that require a dry environment. It is also suitable for birds and small mammals.
Sustainably sourced from European hardwood, the chips are kiln-dried to eliminate harmful organisms, ensuring a safe and hygienic bedding choice. The larger chip size makes it especially well-suited to larger species, providing a clean, natural appearance while helping to reduce odours.

Spread evenly across the enclosure floor at a depth of 2.5–5cm. Spot clean daily and replace fully every 2–3 weeks. If using with a heat mat, ensure the substrate depth does not exceed 1cm, and always position the thermostat sensor on the mat.
