The ProRep Basking Flood Lamp diffuses visible light and radiant heat through a coated glass envelope, giving broad, even coverage instead of a concentrated beam. At 40w it suits small to medium tropical enclosures where steady background warmth and bright light are needed.
- Diffused coating gives broad, even light and heat coverage
- Provides visible light and radiant heat as short-wave infrared
- Suited to small and medium tropical enclosures
- 40w, ES screw fitting, single lamp
Run the lamp through a dimming thermostat to hold a steady gradient and fit a lamp guard to prevent contact with the hot glass. This lamp provides heat and visible light only, so add a separate UVB lamp where the species requires one and verify temperatures at the closest reachable surface.
