T-Albino isopods (Armadillidium vulgare, Length 3–10mm) are a mixed-size starter colony for bio-active enclosures and a calcium-rich live food for reptiles and amphibians. Each tub is a 5ml scoop (a level teaspoon) taken from our breeding colony, so the number of woodlice depends on the mix of juveniles and adults in it. Because the scoop includes breeding adults alongside young, the colony can start producing offspring sooner than a tub of same-size juveniles.

Keep part of the substrate constantly damp, with leaf litter and cover such as bark or cork, as isopods need a humid microclimate to thrive and breed. If using them as food, offer them in a smooth-sided dish so they cannot escape into the substrate.
